The Clarion County Fair wheels are rolling and Monday’s events brought a lot of excitement to the fair.  All the animal lovers got a treat with the judging of the rabbits and the guinea pigs, and Susie Volpe, the leader of that particular event and the Vice President of the Fair, certainly had a busy day.  However she was gracious enough to speak with C93 radio on site live at the fair.  Susie told us that there were 34 different categories to judge the rabbits, and this year, nine guinea pigs were in the judging mix as well.  Also taking place yesterday was Apple Pie and Hershey Judging and a group of area officials took part in the judging which included Donna Oberlander, Wayne Brocious, Ted Tharan, Ed Heasley, Tom McConnell, and Rex Muncy.  The judging took place in the well air-conditioned skating rink on the fair grounds, and certainly was a highly touted, enviable task that they tackled.  Mondays activities continued with the Midway Amusement rides starting at five, followed by the antique tractor pulls at 6:30, which always draws a large crowd.  A few raindrops through the early afternoon hours didn’t not dampen any spirits.  All and all , Monday was a good day at the Clarion County Fair.  The fun continues until Saturday and C93 will be live on site on Wednesday and Friday giving away prizes so make sure you stop out and enter to win some amusement park tickets and other prizes.  Come out and support one of the major attractions that this County has to offer.
