Uniform Theft Leads To Discovery Of Stolen Money

While investigating the theft of a uniform, police discover a Brookville woman was stealing from a youth football team. Brookville Police say they were called on August 12th to investigate the theft of football pants and jerseys. Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that 38 year old Shannon Wolfe, the Treasurer of the Brookville Lumberjacks football program, took $2,487.93 from the banking accounts of the organization for personal use. The thefts are said to have occurred between April of 2012 and December 2013. Wolfe is being charged with theft and receiving stolen property. The investigation in the missing pants and jersey is continuing.
